So I couldn't really be bothered to give a day to day analysis of California, all you need to know is that:

- tips are nuff annoying, they expect you to tip 15-20% on all meals, oh yeah and they bump on a further 8% tax, ALLOW DAT
- Bouncing Souls are BARE GOOD, Whole Wheat Bread weren't too shabby neither.
- I no longer go fully clothed onto beaches, this shows I have matured somewhat/accept sunburn more.

I've reached some kind of weird stage in my life. I'm totally happy and feel really hyper a lot of the time (might be something to do with the dramatic White Lightning consumption) but the daytimes just absolutely suck. I hate working more than the next person, but I'd rather have a reason to get up in the morning. I really enjoy the evenings but I hate sleeping in too late 'cause I just feel like a (in the word of Pete Doch) "Fuckin' waster".

Saw 3 is unsatisfactory. Half way through I received a text from Annie saying she was in the Swan, I left post-haste. Unnecessary gore/almost non-existant plot and my inability to sustain anything for longer than an hour reminded me why I hadn't been to the cinema 3 years prior to this visit and probably won't again for another 3. I just don't like it ok! I've only just started watching films again, so allow sitting in a dark room with 4 other people watching some woman's ribcage get stretched apart.

On Monday I went to Southampton University to visit people, I had a happenin' time. In some ways I think Uni life is rad, but I guess you could get quite lonely there, and I'm way too lazy to cook so I guess my diet would just consist of take aways and ready meals. Got nuff pissed both nights and had some fun with Henry (the hoover yeh). Met some Bromley hedz, including some kid called Paul from Kelsey Park who knew Boy Cousins; what a small world.

Jack and I have started hangin' out again, after a weird patch where we felt like complete strangers. good to have you back kid.

I long to live in Los Angeles, I just don't know how to do it yet. SAFE x

Viva England! So...... I'm back in jovial England.

It's been quite a long day... around 20 hours of transportation, but all so so worth it. California my friends... the land of dreams. Getting sunburnt in October is a strange experience. Unfortunately I decided to shave my legs after they were sunburnt thus creating SEVERE pain for myself for the first couple of days of the 'vacation'. Alex's after-sun only seemed to make matters worse.

Bekka and I arrived at Los Angeles International (LAX) airport last Thursday and were met by an excitable guy who told us the best way to get to our hotel was to take the 'super shuttle' ... boy was he wrong! An estimated 20 minute journey took 3 hours 'coz the cretin driving the tank drove everyone else to their destinations the other side of California (or so it felt) first and ended up circling LAX 3 times. After this outrageous experience, Bekka and I decided to treat ourselves to a 'Sizzler's' meal. Here's something about California, EVERYWHERE YOU GO there are Mexicans! In fact, everything is written in Spanish and English as there are so many Spanish speaking people. The really really great thing about America though, is that you get free re-fills on soft drinks... so despite the over 21 alcohol age limit, we just got addicted to caffeine instead.

On Friday we went to Long Beach.... swam in the pacific.... I'll update when I can be bothered.
